Welcome To Eastern Pest Control

With the increase in fast food outlets and waste food in urban areas, the fox finds an abundance of food in built up areas, enabling them to breed more successfully, resulting in the fox population growing at an alarming rate. Therefore, it is now commonplace to see a fox in our gardens, street and even entering our homes.

Despite it’s fluffy exterior, the fox is a harborer of diseases and a pet killer. The non shy modern day fox is regularly attracted into our gardens by waste food, pets and pet toys, often enticed through open doors or windows in the pursuit of food.

Mange is a common disease spread by the urban fox, transmittable to humans and pets. As a parasite that lives on the skin, it causes irritation and skin loss. Furthermore, fox faeces can contain E. Coli and Salmonella, together with hundreds of other bacteria, which can easily contaminate our picnic / bbq / sunbathing / playing areas.

Eastern Pest Control are called to manage fox issues more now than ever. We only use the most humane methods ensuring we comply with all British Pest Control Association guidelines. We do not use traps or poisons (poisons are illegal).

If you have spotted a fox in your garden, call Eastern Pest Control now for advice!
